A real search, with the gaps left in

This is an actual run of the live product on 16 October 2026, not a mock-up. It is published so you can judge relevance before you give us a card. Firms and source links are public. People are shown by role only, and no personal contact detail appears here.

1. The objective

“UK pre-seed investors backing AI agent startups, and the partner responsible.” Investor type: venture capital. Stage: pre-seed. Region: UK.

2. What came back

Ten investors in about 6.5 minutes, ranked by fit (0 to 100) against the objective. Fit reflects how closely the dated evidence we found matches your stage, sector and region.

  1. 1. Hoxton Venturesfit 91
  2. 2. Seedcampfit 86
  3. 3. SFC Capitalfit 84
  4. 4. Antlerfit 82
  5. 5. Air Street Capitalfit 78
  6. 6. Deepbridge Capitalfit 75
  7. 7. Notion Capitalfit 70
  8. 8. UK Sovereign AI Unitfit 64
  9. 9. Atomicofit 52
  10. 10. PSV Techfit 45

Lower-fit rows are shown on purpose: a 45 means the evidence for that firm is thin, and the report says so.

3. The evidence behind four of them

Every claim links to the page it came from. Open them and check.

  • Hoxton Ventures

    Decision maker (by role)

A profile page states that investment decisions are made by its two co-founding general partners, who are its only investing partners.

4. What was verified, and what was not

Verified or sourced

  • Eight named people, each with a title and a source link.
  • Each firm’s investing activity in the last 24 months, with dates.
  • Firm switchboard numbers taken from the firm’s own pages (Likely).
  • Older evidence and former roles were dropped before ranking.

Uncertain, and shown as uncertain

  • No source states who signs the cheque. Every person is labelled “Decision maker (by role)”, never “confirmed”.
  • No direct work email was confirmed for anyone. One address found only on a third-party site was marked Unconfirmed and not recommended.
  • Four funds were left out because the pages read did not show a UK base. They may have one: this check is strict on purpose.
  • LinkedIn pages are never read. Profile links appear only when they come from search results.

5. How this was produced

16 searches, 114 pages found, 60 read, 41 investing signals kept, 6 older than 24 months rejected. Public web sources only, with robots.txt respected. No purchased contact data, no leaked or breached data.
